Reliance Power to tap market for 11000 Crore on 15th January

After few delays, reliance power finally filed its red-herring prospectus with the Registrar of Companies, Maharshtra, for its forthcoming equity issue. Reliance has fixed the price band at 405 to 450 per share and retail investors would be offered discount of Rs 20 per share. The IPO is scheduled to open on January 15, 2008 and will close on January 18, 2008.


Markets in 2008 would continue to be bullish

Stay away from the Markets today till Noon

Yesterday, the markets witnessed heavy gains in the initial
sessions where Nifty touched new highs and crossed 6000 mark. The whole session
was quite choppy with tqo times, the nifty slipping by about 50 points in the
red and then staging smart recovery.

 

The recovery was as swift as the fall. Many shares touched
new highs that were not thinkable about fortnight ago. RPL share crossed Rs 294
as open interest of more than 2  crores
shares were added to it.
